Bear Creek Camp 570-472-3741
Location: Wilkes Barre, PA Camp Type: christian For Ages: 1st- 12th grade
Experience the awesome power of the Spirit by living and playing together with friends in the midst of God’s amazing creation and a caring Christian community. With a group of other amazing people our campers spend time swimming, boating, hiking, worshipping, playing games, discussing their faith, camping, doing arts and crafts, learning about creation, singing and roasting marshmallows around the campfire. Bear Creek Camp has summer programs for youth of all ages beginning with those who have completed first grader to those who have completed 12th. Youth who have completed first or second grade can ""Try Camp"" with a 3-night experience. Those in Elementary and Junior High can experience the adventure of a week-long stay. High School youth can choose from several 1-week or 2-week adventure options or our leadership training programs. All of our programs are led by trained staff members who have a great desire to make the campers' experience as good as it can possibly be.

Our facilities are among the best in camping... heated swimming pool, private lake with over 50 boats, on-premises stables with 30 horses and 7 miles of trails, over 40,000 square feet of indoor activity facilities, 11 tennis courts equipped with lights, 6 basketball courts (indoor and outdoor), 4 regulation sports fields, extensive adventure program and ropes course, indoor & outdoor theaters, 14 arts & crafts workshops, huge circus building, 2 theaters, modern cabins with showers.

Our unique, action-packed program promotes the development of athletic skills, sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence. Each camper receives specialized instruction in our featured sports and has the opportunity to receive more advanced instruction, on an individual basis, in the sport(s) of his/her choice. Our daily schedule of non-stop fun also includes top-notch instruction, league games, tournaments, skills contests, and swimming.

Grier Summer Camp is for girls ages 6-17 years old. It is located at Grier School in Tyrone, Pennsylvania This camp specializes in horseback riding, dance and the arts, but also offers swimming and sports.

International Sports Training Camp is located alongside our beautiful and private 100-acre Trout Lake. In the heart of northeastern Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, the 400-acre facility is situated among tall pines. The lake, mountains, and wooded environments provide breathtaking views and form the perfect setting for a summer camp. Sports include soccer, basketball, and an all sports program.
